15.3.4 Primitive syntactic bindings

The syntactic bindings established by the boot image are all those exported by the library (psyntax system $all); this is an internal library that should not be used for normal operations. Partitions of these bindings are also exported by the library (vicare) and all those in the hierarchies (vicare ---) and (rnrs ---).

The syntactic bindings established by the boot image have descriptors built by Vicare’s package building infrastructure. Every boot image’s syntactic binding has a label gensym associated to it: the binding’s descriptor is stored in the value slot of the label.
