Stuff on life

I’m not driving anymore an automobile with a musicassette player.

The transition was something.

On Side A it’s good: there’s plenty of music I can listen to, on the new device.

On Side B it’s troublesome: replicating my musicassette playlists is generally possible, but there are music pieces not available on YouTube, which is my only subscription for music.

In particular, there are two pieces (among my all time favourites) that I recorded from the radio at the end of the 1980s (I think) that I believe are nowhere to be found on the Internet; also the full album “Sono donne” by Steve Rogers Band (a honest guitar album) is not on an official YouTube channel either.

I have no practical way of continuing to listen to this stuff; porting them from musicassette to digital format is technologically possible, but not with the equipment I have at home.

Sniff…
