Stuff on life

I have been eating too much apple pie. And now ice cream season has begun…

I should have taken the occasion of quarantine to perform an in–depth cleaning of the house. I did not. Instead I am rewriting my website using gnu Texinfo: good bye hand–written html, I hated you. I will sort out some of the pages that I have neglected for a long time.

This lock down has affected me: I feel energy depleted. It is not loneliness, because I am used to it; maybe it is being a house prisoner. Anyway, this last week I have restarted mountain biking in the cross country trail, just outside my town; I really needed it.

I have been stuck with my CCLibraries project, I think for weeks: I have fallen again into documentation writer’s block. For a few days I have tried out Cyclone Scheme: a Scheme–to–C compiler; I ported some code; I will keep an eye on this implementation.

And lately, I think I am going out of my mind: I have no social networks accounts (no Facebook, no Instagram, no Twitter, no whatever) and I have this unjustified fear that someone could steal my identity on those sites to mistreat people. I am the stupidest human on planet Earth. Or maybe not: just use your preferred search engine for stealing identity on social media and posing as someone else on Facebook and variations.

Sigh! Time for some music.
