I want to expand on what I wrote previously (see Stuff on geopolitics); this post is a new question with no answer.
In Italy there exists a neo–Fascist movement named Forza Nuova; it’s been there for quite some time. Let’s say that, in a hypothetical future, they develop a branch in Calabria, a region under strong influence by the ’Ndrangheta, a mafia syndicate.
For example: let’s say they take control of a coffee bar which becomes a place of meetings for neo–Fascists; let’s say they succeed in affiliating a fair number of young boys, females will follow; let’s say they start making big meetings in public places and to march on the streets, as they are known to do.
Would the ’Ndrangheta react to this? Or not?
Can we state that neo–Fascist movements and mafia syndicates are like animals eating different food and sleeping in different places, so they can coexist in the same ecosystem? Or not?
