2.39.8 About the Vicare implementation

The SRFI-115 implementation distributed with Vicare is derived from the library (chibi regexp) distributed with Chibi Scheme, by Alex Shinn. It has the following limitations:

• The syntax ‘|\||’ is not supported. So ‘(|\|| sre ...)’ cannot be used as alias for ‘(or sre ...)’; ‘(|\|| cset-sre ...)’ cannot be used as alias for ‘(or cset-sre ...)’.
• Non–greedy patterns are not implemented.
• Look–around patterns are not implemented.
